Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Upsell menu items and promote specials
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food and beverage service
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to upsell and recommend menu items
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients is beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume situations
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
- Food service certification or training is a plus
